A LITTLE SNEAK PEAK

So final year was kinda a blur, but here is a snippet of one of the collection I designed for my final year portfolio. I had a lot of fun researching and designing for this collection, having the chance to be really bold with my designs.

HEY HOLLYWOOD

A while back, I had to do this project for a course at uni, although I don't think my teacher was thaaaat impressed (okay really not) it was still fun playing dress up with friends and taking some photos, so I thought I'd pop them up here! :)

I spent a while sourcing clothes from vintage shops, charity shops and auction sites like ebay. I had to fund everything myself so I wanted to keep costs down. I did the make up and styling myself, taking inspiration from old Hollywood Glamour and then making it have an edgy more modern spin. You may also notice the slight paparazzi theme too...

Whatever the outcome it was fun and we got to drink Prosecco! x

All four images are my own, but the transparent paparazzi photos do not belong to me and are sourced HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE

PILLOWCASE CHALLENGE

Basic breakdown was that we had too do something innovative with a pillowcase using calico and here's mine!
Sorry about the photo quality, these were just quickly taken while waiting to do the shoot.

Such a beautiful film, To Catch A Thief. The film was directed by Alfred Hitchcock and if you haven't seen yet, DO IT NOW (or don't, what ever).

PHOTOSHOOOOT

So far it seems that I have a catastrophic track record at keeping this blog up to date,
my bad, but now that I'm back at uni I AM DETERMINED.

To begin with how about sharing a snap of a photoshoot I worked on at my previous employees. So not the glamorous scene you might be imaging, I spent most of the time on my tiptoes holding the models' hair as they took the 'cut out photos' and scampering around trying to not get in anyways way (I was new at the time).

Nonetheless, it was heeeeaps of fun and made me have a major new found respect for models (seriously, having your photo taken for 9 hours straight seems pretty darn stressful).

Anyways enjoy :)

SO SPARKLEY

So for those who don't know, I'm actually doing a year in industry as part of my fashion degree, exciting stuff. As many of you know the fashion industry is not glamorous BUT I do get to make jewellery on occasion so it can't all be bad. :)

VELVET DREAMS

I recently found these guys (fun riiiiight?) and baring in mind how completely RUBBISH our weather here in London, all this beach fun makes me much happier! Check out their website and find all images HERE!
